About the role
The Travel Team Inventory Supervisor works with a select big box retailer and provides focused inventory solutions for their unique business. The role involves leading and training Inventory Associates, supervising Inventory Events, resolving concerns, and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Leading and ongoing training of Inventory Associates
- Supervision of Inventory Events
- First point of contact to resolve event concerns under the direction of Area Manager or District Manager
- Drive operational excellence through maximizing employee productivity and team growth
- Assist and direct employees with daily tasks
- Interact with customers to ensure exceptional service
- Travel weekly to customer locations across the region
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Inventory Associate or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong time-management skills
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months
- A minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment screening, and MVR check
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation
- Availability to work flexible schedules with varying hours, including very early mornings and/or late nights
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions
- Ability to frequently be in low-level positions such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching
- Ability to frequently use a ladder
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs
- Ability to travel via car and airplane, including regular overnight stays

Pay
