Inventory Supervisor

About the role

The Inventory Supervisor ensures compliance with operational procedures for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintaining current warehouse inventory. This role promotes a safe environment for products, associates, and temporary workers, and provides 100% customer satisfaction by fostering a positive teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and operations
• Advise management on appropriate resolution of operating issues
• Follow and implement all AIM procedures for the facility
• Maintain a tour-ready facility
• Adhere to the Sundown policy
• Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures
• Investigate accidents and prepare reports
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training to maintain associate skills
• Support coordination of floor space and workflow schemes

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience operating forklift, reach, and order-selector equipment
• 2-5 years of warehouse experience
• 2-5 years of working knowledge in WMS and RF systems
• Ability to perform arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Strong problem-solving skills

Pay

$78,250
