INVENTORY SPECIALIST, WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS

Job Summary

Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of all Pyxis Supply Stations (non-medication) within their assigned area. Ensures stock levels are checked and replenished according to daily schedule. Facilitates ordering of direct/non-stock product(s) and places items in Pyxis upon arrival. Manages daily stock-outs. Performs regular/routine cleaning and expiration date checks. Communicate and educate caregivers to ensure proper use and operation of Pyxis Supply System.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred; medical/surgical technician experience preferred; minimum two (2) years prior experience in storeroom, central supply, sterilization and cart exchange, or Pyxis Med Station operations.
• Good overall knowledge of medical/surgical supplies and usage.
• Knowledge of materials management computer operation system and automated supply stations/systems a plus.
• Ability to make adjustments to system(s) as required.
• Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Flexibility in work schedule, assignments, and work load.
