Job Summary

The Inventory and Warehouse Specialist supports daily production and operational activities through accurate inventory control, shipping and receiving, parts organization, and warehouse support. This role ensures materials are properly tracked, stored, and prepared for use in manufacturing and system builds.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments while reconciling against purchase orders and delivery records
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through ERP system updates (Total ETO) and physical inventory tracking
  • Pick, stage, and issue parts for production based on system-generated work orders
  • Organize, sort, and maintain warehouse and stockroom materials for accessibility and accuracy
  • Support packing and shipment of large automation systems and related components
  • Aid with basic BOM support, inventory checks, and documentation updates as needed
  • Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or inventory issues to the appropriate team members
  • Follow all safety, quality, and procedural standards in warehouse and production areas

Qualifications Desired

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred (no degree required)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately read, enter, and verify inventory data
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email)
  • Ability to learn and use ERP systems (Total ETO – training provided)
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse and production environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and support physical packing/shipping activities as needed
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Dependable, organized, and able to follow direction and established processes

Nonessential Skills and Experience

  • Experience with inventory systems, warehouse operations, or ERP platforms
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM (training provided)
  • Previous exposure to manufacturing, automation, or machine-building environments
  • Basic understanding of BOMs or production workflows
