Inventory Specialist

About the role

Your Wireless – Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support daily inventory operations. This role includes receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, auditing discrepancies, organizing and stocking inventory, preparing inventory transfers, ensuring security, and complying with procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming Verizon device and assessor shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine cycle counts
• Audit inventory discrepancies and research variances
• Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas
• Prepare inventory transfers between retail locations
• Ensure all devices and accessories are labeled and secured
• Ensure compliance with Verizon and company inventory procedures

Requirements

• Previous inventory, warehouse, retail, or logistics experience preferred
• Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology, and products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to utilize systems and Excel to generate and analyze real-time reports on stock levels, sales trends, and inventory discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications
