Inventory Specialist
Job Summary
Trillium Flow Technologies, a company dedicated to providing mission-critical products and services for essential infrastructure, seeks an Inventory Specialist to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for optimal efficiency and safety.
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Issue materials to production teams based on work orders and schedules.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- OSHA safety training is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
- Prior experience in valve or industrial equipment manufacturing.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software).
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Use hands and arms to handle tools, equipment, and materials.
- Lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Work near moving mechanical parts and overhead cranes.
- Be exposed to moderate to high noise levels, vibrations, and varying temperatures.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots.
- Occasionally work around chemicals, lubricants, or other industrial materials.
- Work overtime or shifts depending on production need.
Pay Range
The estimated pay range for this position is $24-$25 per hour.
