Primary responsibility

The Inventory Specialist's primary responsibility is to perform the day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities of the Asurion forward stocking locations for various in-home client programs. This person serves as an integral part of the Supply Chain Management support team in providing support and ensuring smooth and effective operations.

Essential Functions

  • Support warehouse operations as well as any administrative tasks to meet quality and productivity metrics supporting overall business needs.
  • Aid teams to ensure timely product movement, availability and disposition according to process.
  • Confirm and support all required shipping and receiving protocols.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by researching and performing follow-ups when discrepancies arise.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to office management, including telephony, computers, printers, and facilities.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by department and management.
  • Collaborate pro-actively and successfully across departmental boundaries.
  • Operate in compliance with Federal, State and Local authorities on a daily basis.

Minimum Requirements

  • Skills/Knowledge: Basic knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network and warehouse best practices. Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to navigate and root cause opportunities to seek resolution. Strong ability to handle ambiguity and adapt readily and easily to changes. Strong verbal and written communication, and team facilitation skills. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and set priorities.
  • Experience/education: 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Bending, sitting, lifting, and standing based on the need of the business.
  • Standing and/or sitting for extended and long periods of time, up to 100% of shift or over time.
