Inventory Specialist

About the role

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position in the Distribution Center responsible for managing inventory accuracy through audits, observations, and communication with the team. Shifts available are Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm or Sunday–Wednesday 7:00 am–5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Leads inventory accuracy through audits and observations
• Directs product removal through the damage process
• Performs daily cycle counts and quality control checks
• Assists with product movement by operating equipment as needed
• Maintains department metrics
• Helps manage out of stocks and back-to-stock process

Qualifications

• Experience in Warehouse Inventory Control field, preferred; retail experience a plus
• Ability to operate an Order (Cherry) Picker
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
• Knowledge of industry business and passion for following trends in the industry
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization
• Ability to quickly separate mission-critical tasks from lower priority tasks; focuses on the most value-added projects
• Flexible, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledge
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once
• Possesses focused attention to detail and solid organizational and prioritization skills while working quickly and accurately under pressure
