About the role
An Inventory Specialist supports pharmacy operations by managing inventory, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, and promoting service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and oversee inventory activities
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory standards
- Assist with prescription processing
- Deliver compassionate patient care
- Support immunizations and health services where permitted
- Lead by example and communicate effectively
- Contribute to a positive team environment
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies to safeguard patient safety and privacy
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 6 months of Pharmacy Technician experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant licensure/certification as required by state law
- Strong attention to detail, communication, math, and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina for tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to store needs
Preferred: national certification and 1-3 years of experience.
