About the role

An Inventory Specialist supports pharmacy operations by managing inventory, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, and promoting service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and oversee inventory activities
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory standards
  • Assist with prescription processing
  • Deliver compassionate patient care
  • Support immunizations and health services where permitted
  • Lead by example and communicate effectively
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies to safeguard patient safety and privacy

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 6 months of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant licensure/certification as required by state law
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, math, and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina for tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to store needs

Preferred: national certification and 1-3 years of experience.
