Inventory Specialist

About the role

Responsible for inventory management, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and accurate cost files. Works under limited supervision, relying on experience and judgment to ensure adequate inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Replenish inventory from in-store stock and incoming orders
• Assist in ordering replacement product from the appropriate supplier
• Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure adequate quantities are available to meet customer needs without maintaining excessive levels
• Assist in identifying and returning outdated or overstocked merchandise to the proper source
• Update IT drug database as needed
• Work with facility management and HD support staff to ensure accurate cost files are maintained
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a professional and clean department
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED
• Preferred: AS Degree or higher
• Preferred: 2 or more years of previous experience in a related position
• Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (Vermont employees)
• Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician (Ohio employees only)

Attendance Requirements

• Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as required

Pay

$16.00 - $20.06 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
