About the role
Responsible for inventory management, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and accurate cost files. Works under limited supervision, relying on experience and judgment to ensure adequate inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Replenish inventory from in-store stock and incoming orders
- Assist in ordering replacement product from the appropriate supplier
- Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure adequate quantities are available to meet customer needs without maintaining excessive levels
- Assist in identifying and returning outdated or overstocked merchandise to the proper source
- Update IT drug database as needed
- Work with facility management and HD support staff to ensure accurate cost files are maintained
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a professional and clean department
- Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED
- Preferred: AS Degree or higher
- Preferred: 2 or more years of previous experience in a related position
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (Vermont employees)
- Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician (Ohio employees only)
Attendance Requirements
- Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
Pay
$16.00 - $20.06 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
