Inventory Specialist
About the role
Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. We pump peanut butter into your jar and the oil in your car. We glue the soles of your shoes, the glass in your windows and the screen on your phone. This role maintains and records the integrity of inventory by performing random and scheduled inventory audits for financial and operational purposes. You will perform complex root cause analysis, implement recommendations based on findings, identify and implement strategic inventory processes, track and report results for effectiveness. You may be responsible for multiple inventory operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts of planned and random part numbers to check for accuracy.
- Analyze count results for reasonableness.
- Determine and implement adjustments to inventory and location database masters; complete Cycle Count Explanation forms as required.
- Work with DC Managers or Supervisors, Planners, Cell Managers, Plant Controllers, and others to identify and implement corrective actions.
- Perform procedural audits on WIP, LOG Sign-ins, Bond Areas, Locations, Purchase Sign-ins, Outside Service Sign-ins, MTOs, PTOs, and "Hold" areas.
- Provide monthly reporting and analysis to affected parties on location accuracy and inventory count performance.
- Coordinate physical inventories as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- PC skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Willingness to be trained and certified in the use of forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Regularly lift and move materials up to 45 pounds.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; this role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT).

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $26.11 - $45.72 per hour. The final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and experience, with consideration for internal equity.
