Inventory Specialist

Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry-leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer, currently has an opportunity in Sparks, NV. This role reports into our Specialty Chemical Distribution (SCD) Division.

About the role

You will compile records for ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment while moving inventory within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains the physical inventory for accuracy both in the warehouse and within the computer system
• Uses computer system, WMS handheld devices, and pick lists to pick items for production, sales, or transfer orders
• Fulfills all required items for outside service providers
• Conducts regular cycle counts of inventory
• Returns items to the proper warehouse location after production
• Works with the production departments on appropriate scrap status after a job completes
• Monitors and reorders consumables for the production floor
• Conforms to all quality and safety-related procedures
• Backs up Receiving and Shipping tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 2 years of inventory experience required
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Forklift certification
• Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to achieve a high level of work quality
• Ability to use standard MS Office applications, ERP, distribution center software, and/or hardware (UPC guns, etc.)
• Lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.
