Inventory Specialist

Job Description

Cosmo Appliances is a rapidly growing appliance brand focused on understanding customer needs in the kitchen. This role aims to inspire customers through superior service and teamwork.

Roles, Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Perform inventory cycle counts at multiple warehouse locations
• Input detailed information into a database
• Read and interpret various documents such as invoices, shipping labels, BOL’s, etc.
• Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments
• Generate data reports for management and customers
• Maintain logs and databases for inventory accuracy
• Create and update warehouse mapping systems
• Coordinate with the warehouse team for inbound/receiving inventory
• Communicate with cross-functional teams
• Perform other general office administrative/customer service duties

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Computer / Tech Savvy (Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets)
• 2+ Years in Inventory / Cycle Counting or Related Field
• Reliable form of transportation (Some travel required)
• An Open Schedule (Some Saturdays shifts and/or overtime will be required)
• Strong Attention to Detail and Excellent Organizational Skills
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Ability to Lift 40+ lbs
• Willingness to Help in All Aspects / Departments
• Droning/Forklording (Not required, but a plus)
