Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Inventory Specialist will manage the inventory of all vehicles at Copart's facilities, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Document vehicle condition using company-provided tools and complete inventories with supporting photographs.
• Direct traffic flow in the receiving area to facilitate efficient processing of vehicle inventory.
• Facilitate the Copart experience by addressing customer needs and offering solutions.
• Maintain the receiving area, monitor inventory, and organize materials.
• Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles and complete TLEs (Vehicle Condition Reports) as required.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Copart policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• General automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld devices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role is a plus.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.29 per hour.
