Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Inventory Specialist will manage the vehicle inventory at Copart facilities, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Document vehicle conditions using company tools and standards
• Direct traffic flow in the receiving area to expedite processing
• Facilitate customer needs by understanding and applying Copart policies
• Maintain the receiving area, including monitoring, organizing, and operating equipment
• Operate camera and handheld devices to process incoming vehicles
• Determine the operational capabilities of motor vehicles
• Complete TLEs (Vehicle Inspection Inventories) on required vehicles
• Maintain inventory of materials used

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred
• Basic computer proficiency, including operation of handheld devices
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Driver’s license preferred
• Bilingual skills a plus
