Inventory Specialist

About the role

Copart is a technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform globally, with over 200 facilities across the world. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Responsibilities include documenting vehicle condition to company standards, directing traffic flow in the receiving area, and facilitating the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
• Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine operational capability of motor vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of all materials used.
• Ensure compliance to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Pay

$20.03 – $22.58 per hour.
