About the role
The Inventory Specialist will manage the inventory of all vehicles at Copart's facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Responsibilities
- Document vehicle condition using company-provided tools and complete inventories with supporting photographs.
- Direct traffic flow in the receiving area to facilitate timely processing of vehicle inventory.
- Facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs.
- Maintain the receiving area, monitor inventory, and organize materials.
- Operate camera systems and handheld inventory devices to process incoming vehicles.
- Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles and complete TLEs (Technical Line Evaluations) on required vehicles.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Copart policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- General automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld devices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- Driver's license preferred.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role is a plus.
