About the role
The Inventory Specialist supports our Evolution Well Services Operating facility by receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Responsibilities
- Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location.
- Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received.
- Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
- Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.
- Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- Organize and sort items on shelves, bins, and overhangs according to company standards.
- Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items.
- Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped.
- Communicate demand of stocked items to the procurement team.
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
Requirements
- Successfully passes background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Daily in-person, predictable attendance.
- Minimum High School degree and 3–4 years’ work experience.
Skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and work primarily standing.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Interpersonal skills essential for team collaboration in an organized warehouse.
- Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs.
- Experience using a forklift; professional forklift certification strongly preferred.
- Typing and record-keeping skills necessary for accurate inventory reporting.
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks by importance.
- Customer service mentality to ensure positive customer experience through high-standard shipping.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
The Inventory Specialist primarily works in a warehouse/shop environment exposed to common hazards such as physical strain, moving machinery, loading, unloading, falling objects, slips, trips, and falls.
- Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, and squat/kneel.
- Must speak clearly and audibly, and have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., building alarms) from in-person speech, telephone, or other remote sources.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, sit, climb, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 49 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects over 100 pounds with a team lift.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. (Overtime frequently required.)
