Responsibilities
- Complete activities encompassing warehouse shipping (domestic and international), material transfers, and cycle counting.
- Coordinate warehouse resources to optimize the flow of finished goods from production to the end customer.
- Ensure daily shipping of customer orders for accurate and timely delivery, maintaining Baxter’s goal of a 98% on-time fulfillment rate globally.
- Work with supervisors to resolve issues quickly and find solutions.
- Generate and maintain accurate process documentation, including shipping documentation and transactions.
- Investigate process problems promptly and document findings in an organized manner.
- Cross-train in all functions of finished goods, including the ability to enter a cleanroom to transfer materials.
- Assist in cycle counting activities as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma (or equivalent).
- 0 to 2 years of experience in Shipping and Receiving.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of cGMP regulations and OSHA requirements; must remain current on training.
- Ability to work overtime or weekends as required.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs periodically.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, and high manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in temperature variations (e.g., dock environments).
Preferred Qualifications
- ERP system knowledge.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean activities (e.g., Kaizen and 5S).
Pay
The estimated base salary for this position is $46,400 - $63,800 annually. Individual pay is based on location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
