The Inventory Specialist is responsible for all aspects of maintaining inventory and providing backing up other positions in the Logistics organization as needed. What You’ll Do: Monitors/maintains inventory to ensure product availability, including purchased components, incoming/outgoing count verification, resolving discrepancies and disposition of damaged, out of print or EIO material. Review and count product, make copies of the appropriate paperwork, and verify revisions when product is being received into inventory. Release inventory pull orders when inventory is available and within a due date range to the customer. Conducts physical inventory/cycle counts. Maintain accurate inventory counts. Works with Customer Service to decrease finished goods inventory. Print and assemble router packets as a back up to the production scheduler. Help purchasing scan purchase orders. Follow all company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 1 - 3 years related experience/training in inventory control Must be able to work independently and/or cohesively as part of a team. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, read, analyze and interpret general business documents and technical procedures. Must be able to count accurately and meet tight deadlines Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to manipulate a spreadsheet. Able to learn new systems as required. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
