Inventory Specialist
Primary responsibility
The Inventory Specialist's primary responsibility is to perform the day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities of Asurion forward stocking locations for various in-home client programs. This individual serves as an integral part of the Supply Chain Management support team, providing support and ensuring smooth and effective operations.
Essential Functions
- Support warehouse operations as well as any administrative tasks to meet quality and productivity metrics supporting overall business needs.
- Aid teams to ensure timely product movement, availability, and disposition according to process.
- Confirm and support all required shipping and receiving protocols.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by researching and performing follow-ups when discrepancies arise.
- Troubleshoot issues related to office management, including telephony, computers, printers, and facilities.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by department and management.
- Collaborate pro-actively and successfully across departmental boundaries.
- Operate in compliance with Federal, State, and Local authorities on a daily basis.

Minimum Requirements
- Basic knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network, and warehouse best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong ability to handle ambiguity and adapt readily to changes.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and team facilitation skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivation, work independently, and set priorities.
Physical Demands
- Bending, sitting, lifting, and standing based on the need of the business.
- Sitting and/or standing for extended and long periods of time, up to 100% of shift or over time.
