Inventory Specialist
About the role
Primary responsibility of the Inventory Specialist is to perform the day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities of the Asurion forward stocking locations for various in-home client programs. This person serves as an integral part of the Supply Chain Management support team in providing support and ensuring smooth and effective operations, delivering a variety of professional, administrative, and/or clerical services to the department and management.
Responsibilities
- Support warehouse operations as well as any administrative tasks to meet quality and productivity metrics supporting overall business needs.
- Assist teams to ensure timely product movement, availability, and disposition according to process.
- Confirm and support all required shipping and receiving protocols.
- Monitor and update applicable software programs as needed.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by researching and performing follow-ups when discrepancies arise.
- Troubleshoot issues related to office management, including telephony, computers, printers, and facilities.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by department and management.
- Collaborate proactively and successfully across departmental boundaries.
- Operate in compliance with Federal, State, and Local authorities on a daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network, and warehouse best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to navigate and root cause opportunities to seek resolution.
- Strong ability to handle ambiguity and adapt readily and easily to changes.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and team facilitation skills.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and set priorities.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Bending, sitting, lifting, and standing based on the need of the business.
- Standing and/or sitting for extended and long periods of time, up to 100% of shift or overtime.

Pay
$19.80 per hour + quarterly bonus opportunities.
Schedule
8:00am - 5:00pm. Weekend availability is required.
