Position Summary
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, monitoring material usage trends, and ensuring that all operational departments have the materials needed to function efficiently. This role supports warehouse, production, research and development, and facilities and materials management team by maintaining inventory integrity, optimizing stock organization, and preventing stockouts or excess inventory.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in Inventory, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain - At least 1 year of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar operational role is preferred.
- Attention to Detail and Accuracy - Proven ability to monitor inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Process-Oriented Thinking - Ability to follow detailed job aids, SOPs, and structured workflows to maintain consistent inventory process.
- Physical Capability and Stamina - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift packages weighing up to 50lbs as part of daily responsibilities.
- Commitment to Quality and Efficiency - Demonstrated understanding of how inventory accuracy impacts company operations and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
