Inventory Rep

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains an accurate account of all inventory and orders new vehicles based on business needs and customer specifications
• Ensures proper color and trim mix is maintained based on sales history
• Acts as a liaison between departments, dealerships, and buyers
• Facilitates inventory swaps with other franchised car dealers
• Maintains an inventory replenishment system ensuring proper levels of stock
• Knows where each vehicle is located (keeping track of sold, pending delivery, transferred, at another location, currently driven, or used as a loaner or demo car)
• Tracks all inventory write-downs and write-ups
• Ensures proper payment and receipt of paperwork for the dealership
• Follows company safety procedures and policies
• Maintains current information on manufacturer updates and changes concerning vehicles
