About the role
This position ensures audit preparedness, troubleshoots issues, maintains training matrices, and oversees all records and written procedures for Quality Systems, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and monthly quality training. The role involves updating and reviewing SOPs, ensuring compliance with quality requirements, and managing documentation for internal audits and corrective actions. Additional responsibilities include reporting safety non-conformance, assuring inventory accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Responsibilities
- Ensure audit preparedness and troubleshoot cases with issues.
- Maintain and update the training matrix for all associates.
- Maintain all records and written procedures of Quality Systems (e.g., SOPs, monthly quality training).
- Ensure SOPs are up-to-date and reviewed as required.
- Ensure compliance of all documentation and communication with quality requirements.
- Keep internal audit documentation current and report corrective actions to associates.
- Report safety non-conformance.
- Assure inventory accuracy and compliance for all DC5 accounts; investigate and resolve unique inventory occurrences and discrepancies.
- Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and report noncompliance.
- Observe and assist in enforcing company safety rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email applications.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (e.g., protective footwear, eyewear, hearing protection, bump cap, gloves) in accordance with safety policies.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from associates, managers, regulatory agencies, and the public.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage training recordkeeping systematically.
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and procedure manuals.
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.
- Problem-solving skills for practical situations with limited standardization.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Pay
$23.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.
Schedule
Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
