Compensation: $22–$29 hourly

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Planner to accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts. The successful candidate will use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material, document system issues, and communicate with various departments to resolve problems. This role requires the ability to meet safety, productivity, and quality standards by following best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently handle material for production and development efforts.
  • Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material.
  • Document system issues, process flaws, and inefficiencies.
  • Communicate with quality control, purchasing, and other related departments to resolve problems.
  • Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.
  • Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new hires and junior peers.
  • Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards by following best practices.
  • Resolve individual work blockers and escalate when necessary.
  • Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
  • Contribute to the improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience with Excel.
  • Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Schedule

This position requires a flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed. The expected work schedule is 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, Sunday through Wednesday. Candidates must be able to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
