INVENTORY PHARM TECH SPECIALIST

Essential Duties, Function & Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory and submits/receives orders on formulary from approved vendors.
  • Reconciles invoices for accounts payable processing.
  • Serves as a liaison between procurement/supply chain management and contracted vendors.
  • Supports in managing contracting, purchasing, and receiving of all drug products, med-surg supplies, and other necessary materials.
  • Aids in formulary compliance and tracking, ordering, and distributing patient-specific medications from specialty pharmacies.
  • Maintains records and tracks DME and compounding equipment.
  • Participates in company physical inventories and cycle inventory counts.
  • Packages, ships, and tracks products needed in other company facilities.
  • Performs inventory functions in both CPR+ and InfuseFlow systems.
  • Provides necessary data for budget development related to material goods.

Mathematical Skills

  • Perform basic mathematical computations.
  • Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, talking, and hearing.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, and driving/riding in transport vehicles.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities: reading, distance, computer, and color vision.
  • Talking and hearing are essential for communication.
