Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations using D365 F&O
- Configure and manage inventory modules within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Implement and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control
- Monitor and analyze inventory performance through dashboards and real-time reporting in D365 F&O
- Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability
- Lead and manage the cycle counting program to reduce shrinkage and improve stock reliability
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and root causes
- Support inventory-related system upgrades, data migrations, and process automations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Provide training and support to warehouse staff on inventory procedures and D365 F&O functionality
- Aid in forecasting and demand planning by providing accurate inventory data
- Continuously identify and implement opportunities for operational improvement
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse inventory management or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or similar ERP, especially warehouse and inventory modules
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and KPI tracking
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to lead and train warehouse staff in inventory processes and systems
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
- Familiarity with compliance standards and audit requirements related to inventory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with VANs or middleware platforms in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies
- Knowledge of ERP integration best practices and modern supply chain technologies
- Proven experience in leading change initiatives and managing projects from inception to completion
