Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all warehouse personnel in inventory control and quality assurance operations
- Utilize root cause analysis to identify and promptly report inventory discrepancies, proposing effective solutions to resolve them
- Partner with site management team to drive quality at all levels within the warehouse
- Work closely with all levels of personnel in order to educate and to understand how functions affect the inventory
- Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly action plans that improve quality, inventory accuracy and service
- Plan and execute cycle counts as required in each area of the warehouse
- Teach and influence managers and associates on the importance of inventory control and quality assurance
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within warehousing
- Experience managing within a warehouse management system
- Strong analytical, mathematical or data analysis bias
- Able to drive process improvement initiatives
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
- Must be PC literate and proficient with MS Office and Excel
