CEIS Power is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager with 5+ years of experience leading inventory and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. This position is on a direct hire basis and, our client, an energy service and power generation company, is looking for a motivated individual to join their fast-paced growing team. The right person for this position will be able to perform well under pressure and be adaptable to rapid change and redirection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Distribution, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of inventory or warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading and developing warehouse or inventory teams
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory transaction management
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing safety stock and reorder points
  • Experience working with 3PL providers and trucking/logistics companies
  • Experience supporting new facility ramp-ups, warehouse layouts, and process implementation
  • Knowledge of inventory controls, cycle counts, and financial compliance practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead inventory and warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, picking, shipping, and logistics coordination
  • Build, train, mentor, and stabilize a high-performing inventory team
  • Develop and improve SOPs to support scalable warehouse and inventory operations
  • Monitor warehouse workflows and proactively identify operational bottlenecks or delays
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies, logistics issues, and ERP transaction errors using data-driven problem-solving
  • Maintain ERP data integrity and ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in real time
  • Monitor MRP signals, production schedules, safety stock levels, and reorder points to ensure material availability
  • Lead cycle count programs and inventory audits to maintain accurate financial reporting and inventory valuation
  • Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, 3PL providers, and transportation vendors to support operational efficiency
  • Support warehouse optimization initiatives including 5S implementation, facility layout improvements, and process controls
