About the role
The Inventory Manager oversees inventory operations and ensures accuracy, control, and availability across Addium's organization. This role plays a key part in meeting customer and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the Inventory Team, providing training and professional development opportunities.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Oversee inventory operations using Addium’s ERP system and collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and enhance ERP system updates and functionality.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Develop processes that improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Execute inventory replenishment and optimize turnover.
- Liaise with other departments and buyers to minimize obsolete stock.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and corrective actions based on root cause analysis.
- Hire, train, and evaluate team performance.
- Administer schedules, workflows, and disciplinary actions per company policy.
Requirements
- 2+ years successfully managing inventory or receiving teams.
- 5+ years of experience in Inventory, Receiving, or Warehouse operations.
- 3+ years combined experience in quality control, inventory management, and cycle counting.
- Strong experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Forklift operation and safety experience.
- Experience coordinating material audits and implementing process improvements.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Able to both lead and work alongside team members.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Professionalism, tact, and ethics in workplace interactions.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Supervisory experience with the ability to train and guide staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory software.
