Inventory Logistics Coordinator
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We need to include sections only when posting has real specific content. We have schedule info: "Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm. Off on Saturday and Sunday." So we can have a Schedule section.
We have "Who We Are" which is about organization; could be "About the role"? Actually "Who We Are" is about the organization, not role. Could be "About the role" but maybe better to use "About the organization"? The instruction says use those example headings; we can use "About the role" for summary of role? The summary is about role. Could use "About the role" heading for the summary paragraph. "Who We Are" could be omitted or placed under "About the role"? But we need preserve all substantive info. Could create a section "About ACC" but not in list. However instruction says use those headings as examples, not exclusive? It says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Likely they expect those headings only. So we need to map content to those headings.
We have:
- About the role: could include summary and who we are? Probably summary is about role. Who we are is about organization; maybe we can include under About the role as context.
- Responsibilities: we have Essential Job Functions and Other Responsibilities (detailed). So we can put those under Responsibilities.
- Requirements: we have Required Qualifications list.
- Qualifications: we have Preferred Qualifications.
- Skills: maybe we can extract skills from required qualifications: organizational, time-management, communication, driving, lifting, etc. Could create Skills section.
- Benefits: we have Benefits paragraph.
- Schedule: we have schedule info.
- Pay: not provided, so omit.
We must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". So we only include sections with real content.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no html/body tags.
We'll produce:
About the role
About the role
... summary + who we are ...

About the role
Summary: The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of inventory, receiving, distribution, transportation, and logistics activities across Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC). This position ensures that supplies, equipment, donations, and animal care essentials are accurately received, tracked, stored, distributed, and transported between ACC locations and external partners in a timely and organized manner. This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring frequent travel between ACC locations, headquarters, storage facilities, vendors, donors, and other designated locations. The Coordinator physically handles inventory and equipment, loads and unloads vehicles, and works in warehouse, storage, shelter, office, and outdoor environments. The role requires strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to drive responsibly and patiently throughout New York City.
Who We Are: ACC is one of the nation’s largest open-admission animal shelters, whose mission is to End Animal Homelessness in NYC. We touch the lives of nearly 20,000 animals each year. ACC is more than an animal shelter; we are a resource to the community, always seeking ways to keep the human-animal bond intact. With a 90% placement rate, our progressive, life-saving initiatives contribute to the successful placement of our animals. We strive to find loving homes for homeless and abandoned cats, dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits, both by adopting animals directly to the public and by partnering with more than 200 dedicated animal placement organizations (our New Hope partners). We also help keep NYC communities safe and rescue animals in need, responding to emergencies that involve animals as well as keeping our doors open 24/7 for people and animals in need.
