Job Summary
The candidate must coordinate and schedule daily LTL shipments.
Essential Responsibilities/Activities
- Ensure shipments are processed accurately, being mindful of cost and timing requirements.
- Data entry required; accuracy of data is critical.
- Must professionally communicate via telephone and e-mail with internal and external customers.
- Accurate labeling of shipments is required.
- Prepare accurate and timely paperwork for drivers to pick up shipments.
- Establish and follow processes to ensure correct paperwork is completed timely and per shipping requirements.
- Must be detail-oriented and accurate with forms and numbers.
- Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be customer-service oriented.
- Must perform job duties in timely manner.
- Must maintain clean work area.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Inventory Control experience preferred, but not required.

Essential Physical Functions
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
- Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
