Inventory Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Administer the end-to-end lifecycle of government assets, including acquisition, receipt, tagging, inventory, transfer, and disposal
• Investigate and report incidents of Loss, Damage, Destruction, or Theft (LDDT) of government property, and implement safeguards to prevent future occurrences
• Conduct periodic physical inventories, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in government-approved property management systems
• Ensure all property management activities strictly comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.245-1 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR)
• Responsible for status and task management reports for area of responsibility
• Manage the flow of shipments both inbound and outbound in the manner that is most cost effective. Utilize logistics software
• References Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations on hours of service
• Manages load utilization
• Covers logistics distribution of material
• Coordinates the distribution point of material for incoming and outgoing material
• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite (TEAMs, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Required Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with certifications, licenses and extensive experience with use of material handling equipment
• Required to handle; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl
• The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds or more
• This position requires a minimum of 3 years’ related experience
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS, 25% annually

Pay

The salary offered will depend on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity, business needs, and other factors permitted by law.
