About the Team

Rocket Lab’s Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials, products, and components through the business. The team ensures the assembly kits for our Electron & Neutron rockets are prepared, manages inventory, handles shipping and receiving, oversees direct and indirect procurement, and inspects materials to ensure compliance and quality. They are critical to the success of our rocket and satellite programs.

Responsibilities

Receive inwards goods on a FIFO basis and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processing.
Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of components and production kits in accordance with production and transfer order plans/priorities.
Maintain a steady supply of Kanban materials to the shop floor.
Manage raw material movements and replenishment.
Follow SOPs and maintain stock point accuracy.
Participate in a daily cycle counting program.
Manage and maintain FIFO to achieve appropriate stock rotation.
Maintain stock point accuracy and ensure the ERP system (LN) accurately reflects actual stock movements.
Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
Perform additional duties as reasonably required.

Requirements

High school diploma and 1+ year of experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other heavy manufacturing.
Experience with control and tracking of serial and lot-controlled materials.
Experience with ERP systems.
Prior experience in a high-paced, rapid-growth environment.
Team-oriented with strong ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.

Work Environment

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.

Pay

Base Pay Range (MD Only): $22 USD - $27 USD. Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
