Inventory Control Utility/Issue Clerk

About the role

This position supports the transportation, verification, and organization of raw materials and finished products within our manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Transports finished products from manufacturing to pre-sterile or shipping areas.
• Determines raw material requirements, retrieves materials from the correct location, completes the appropriate issuing transactions, and delivers to Manufacturing.
• Verifies the correct count before and after selecting materials from a location.
• Maintains license plates in current locations as needed.
• Delivers molded components to the Raw Material Warehouse.
• Scans materials to storage locations in the warehouse.
• Removes materials from warehouse storage locations and prepares them for transportation to production.
• Delivers raw materials to the suggested storage area for said item in the production area, ensuring pallets are clean prior to entering the production area per GMP.
• Communicates with the Receiving Coordinator, Purchasing, Planners, and/or Production Supervisors about shortages or potential shortages.
• Keeps aware of the daily schedule and organizes raw materials for current and new orders to be run on the next shift.
• Performs cycle counts of raw materials to maintain accuracy of raw material inventory and reports discrepancies to the Receiving Coordinator.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
