The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of a team of non-exempt Union employees in the Inventory Control Department. Candidate must also maintain inventory integrity through use of cycle counts and aggressive audit program of inbound and outbound shipments. What you can expect: Maintain Inventory integrity and storage capacitiesComplete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work resultsDemonstrate leadership skills, providing guidance, direction, skill, and performance accountability in fair and consistent manner while always looking for ways to increase efficienciesManages processes and trainings associated with STASM/STASQ and stock consolidationsOversee thorough training of new hires and temporary staffing, cross training as needed; Initiate and complete cross training in key positions to cover volume spikes, absenteeism, and vacationsProvide daily/weekly/monthly capacity reports to Distribution Managers and DirectorsProcess bi-weekly employee payrollMaintain safe and secure work environment at all timesPrioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environmentCommunicate effectively through all levels of the organization, Work effectively within a teamOther tasks as required to meet team goals Your profile: Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Management, or Logistics is preferred1-3 years leadership experience in Logistics / Distribution.
