Inventory Control Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory integrity and storage capacities
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
• Demonstrate leadership skills, providing guidance, direction, skill, and performance accountability in fair and consistent manner while always looking for ways to increase efficiencies
• Manage processes and trainings associated with STASM/STASQ and stock consolidations
• Oversee thorough training of new hires and temporary staffing; cross train as needed; initiate and complete cross training in key positions to cover volume spikes, absenteeism, and vacations
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly capacity reports to Distribution Managers and Directors
• Process bi-weekly employee payroll
• Maintain safe and secure work environment at all times
• Prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
• Communicate effectively through all levels of the organization; work effectively within a team
• Other tasks as required to meet team goals

Requirements

• Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Management, or Logistics is preferred
• 1–3 years leadership experience in Logistics / Distribution
• Apparel/Retail background (preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours; 45–50 hours per week with the expectation that overtime may be required
• Availability and willingness to work any shift, as needed
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective oral and written communication skills; great team-building skills and impeccable integrity
• Flexible; able to prioritize multiple initiatives/tasks with a strict focus on deadlines; strong sense of urgency
• Working knowledge with SAP EWM, STASM/STASQ, MS Access, MS Excel
