Inventory Control Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Maintain accurate inventory in an ERP/MRP system
- Perform cycle counts and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure materials are available and properly staged
- Support kitting of jobs and projects
- Cook with production leads to meet schedule requirements
- Care for Kanban and pull systems
- Apply 5S and lean manufacturing practices
- Improve inventory workflows and storage methods
- Aid with shipping, documentation, and inventory updates
Qualifications
- 2+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of inventory processes, cycle counting, and material flow
- Experience with ERP/MRP or inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on the production floor
Preferred Experience
- Experience in welding, fabrication, or machining environments
- Familiarity with metals or steel materials
- Knowledge of material traceability
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a small, hands-on production environment

Work Environment
- On site role in a production facility with welding, machining, and fabrication operations
