Inventory Control Specialist
Basic Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent and twelve months related experience required.
- Prior warehousing experience.
- Prior experience operating a forklift.
- Able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to facility requirements.
Job Description
You will be the Inventory Control Specialist for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for supporting shop-floor production, managing material handling, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Inventory Control Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring efficient material flow and accurate inventory control on the shop floor. Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Support shop-floor production and manage loading/unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Collect and issue materials, tools, and blueprints required for assemblies.
- Operate SAP for material movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Raise materials in racks, bins, and shelves to optimize storage efficiency.
- Assist shop personnel with material handling and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
