About the role
The Inventory Control Associate will assist on-site operations in inventory control analysis, counting, and implementing standard operating procedures. This role will report to the ICQA Area Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits and cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory counts with system records.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports on inventory levels and stock movements.
- Identify discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts and investigate root causes.
- Affiliate with supply chain, procurement, and warehouse teams to implement best practices and continuous process improvement.
- Affiliate with operations to train on newly implemented inventory control procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or above.
- 3+ years of experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures including pharmaceutical distribution, inventory control, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, FDA, CGMP, GDP).
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (Netsuite, ePRO, SAP etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Conditions of Employment
- Working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
- Physical exertion required, including walking, standing, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve-hour shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to confirm understanding of the potential risks associated with handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD).
