Duties And Responsibilities
- Includes but are not limited to the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Follows orders and completes tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Performs day-to-day inventory activities including receiving incoming material, cycle counts, part identification, and storage.
- Maintains accurate inventory records in the system, updating quantities and locations as needed.
- Strong communication skills to deliver technical information via email or spreadsheets.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensures work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follows prescribed procedures and guidelines.
- Keeps work areas clean and organized and takes proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Fulfills all company rules and policies.
- Fulfills all safety rules and quality standards.
- Upholds all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Skills And Qualifications
- Previous inventory experience in a manufacturing environment or relevant field/position.
- Previous forklift experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods (plus).
- Ability to use and read a tape measure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.
Work Environment
- Environment is not climate controlled.
- Limited control of heat and cooling, hot in the summers and cold in the winters.
- Loud industrial environment.
Physical Demands
- Walking, standing, kneeling, bending are required up to 90% of the workday.
- Light lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50-70 pounds, up to 20% of the workday.
Work Hours
- This is a full-time position.
- Work week is Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts.
- Fridays will be required when production demand requires overtime.
