About the role

The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and communicating field/distributor inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and protecting company assets.

Responsibilities

  • Uses inventory systems like SMS, ZSIS, DCS, and FedEx programs to manage inventory movements.
  • Investigates inventory discrepancies and collaborates across departments to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Facilitates the return/exchange of expired or calibrated products between warehouse and field personnel.
  • Generates and reviews regular reporting, including missing/late inventory reports.
  • Supports the termination of distributor inventory accounts and assists with strategic inventory requests and fulfillment.
  • Maintains accurate records of inventory outflows and coordinates cycle counts.
  • Supports communication and administrative functions related to inventory management.
  • Coordinates and logs inventory requests, and assists with asset placement and recovery.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proven analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One to two years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience with inventory control practices and data analysis is beneficial.

Skills

  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
