About the Role

Maintains accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods in a production and warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily and monthly cycle counts for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Investigate all inventory variances (losses and gains) from reports like Inventory Variance Report and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure counts are documented and variances reported promptly.
  • Balance the month-end inventory for raw packaging and intermediates.
  • Collaborate with production and shipping to resolve finished goods variances.
  • File copies of adjustment reports with cycle count sheets for audit compliance.
  • Maintain documentation for QA and purchasing collaboration.
  • Place products on logical holds.
  • Work with production on finished good variances.

Requirements

  • 2+ years ERP or inventory-related experience is required.
  • Food industry experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic PC and 10-key skills are required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English and be understood; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based upon production demand, including overtime, evenings, or weekends.

Working Conditions

  • Office and warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F.
  • Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 35 lbs is required.
  • Requires walking and standing for long periods of time.
