Inventory Control Associate

About the role

The Inventory Control Associate plays a crucial part in helping White Cap build America by ensuring accurate inventory levels and resolving discrepancies efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to maintain system balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments, and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Complete follow-up to previous inventory adjustments.
• Complete and review cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receive products from vendors to check for quality.
• Communicate potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintain quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Follow company safety policy and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
