Job Objective
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory within the facility through cycle counts, transaction audits and procedural audits. They will also perform slot maintenance tasks such as locate new product, relocate product based on sales vols to optimize building layout.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform cycle count, transaction auditing and reconcile inventory as per assigned schedule and on an ad-hoc basis to improve the inventory accuracy of the facility.
- Audit procedural activities that could have an inventory impact to meet audit requirements and report back findings and recommend steps to improve accuracy.
- Perform layout changes as instructed and also suggest layout changes to optimize receipt, putaway, replenishment, pick, pack and ship activities.
- Perform other tasks as required in relation to the overall performance of the business.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Experience in a distribution environment, specifically within inventory control preferred.
- Working knowledge of M3 and WM preferred.
Requirements
- Must be able to work within a warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to lifting, standing, climbing stairs and the use of RF devices and computers.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
- Strong numerical and accuracy skills.
- Working knowledge of WM/BI systems (Manhattan and M3) strongly preferred.
- Must be capable of learning to use Excel.
