About the role
BETA is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically minded Inventory Control Analyst to support the optimization of inventory control process improvement and maintenance across our warehouse and manufacturing locations. In this role, you will leverage data analytics, system expertise, and process improvement initiatives to ensure 99.5% inventory accuracy and on-time component delivery to our electric aircraft production teams. You will work with the Inventory Lead, Inventory Analyst colleagues, and BETA Internal Audit to ensure inventory control requirements for FAA certification, and Sarbanes-Oxley key controls are established, documented, and met.
How you will contribute
- Analyze and communicate daily workload and operational metrics to support resource planning
- Report weekly KPI data and support end-of-year audit requirements through comprehensive inventory documentation and analysis
- Execute daily and weekly location triage activities to maintain inventory integrity
- Support FAA Type and Production Certification activities through inventory control plans and documentation
- Support SOX key controls and requirements to ensure accurate quarterly and annual financial reporting related to on-hand inventory
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies to identify systemic improvements
- Maximize current Plex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Cella Warehouse Management System (WMS) capabilities, while providing troubleshooting and system maintenance
- Support inventory movements and resolve Jira tickets while ensuring accurate inventory movement and documentation
- Perform material handling responsibilities as assigned, including support for warehouse organization, cycle counting, and component picking
- Support new hire onboarding and cross-training initiatives while creating and maintaining training materials
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field; OR 2+ years in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain analytics
- Demonstrated experience with ERP and/or WMS systems
- Demonstrated experience training and mentoring colleagues on system navigation and inventory management procedures
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in data-heavy environments
- Ability to work independently, but function as a team player
- Ability to handle setbacks and find solutions
- Ability to perform material handling and warehouse tasks as assigned
- All-around good person and fun to work with
Above and beyond qualifications
- Previous work in a manufacturing environment with experience in aerospace, automotive, or a startup preferred
- Working knowledge of FAA and/or SOX compliance requirements
- Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies
- Process improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Advanced Excel experience

Compensation $30—$35 USD
