Inventory Clerk - Damages

About the Position

The Inventory Clerk maintains inventory levels and accuracy in a distribution center. This position is responsible for reporting, physical inventory, and system audits and for utilizing the inventory management system to prepare and track materials and products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs. Various sites may require additional support based on the nature of the business. This could include, but is not limited to, product holds/releases, recalls, and returns.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Based on the site, industry specific (i.e. food grade) experience may be required.
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.
