About The Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Inventory Clerk to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. In this role, you will maintain inventory accuracy, ensure the availability of critical spare parts, and support maintenance operations through effective material management. This position is key to maximizing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring maintenance teams have the resources needed to support bakery operations.
This role requires onsite presence in Swedesboro, NJ four days per week, offering hands-on collaboration with the team and daily exposure to bakery operations.

- Shift: 3rd
- Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Weekend Availability: Required
Pay
Hourly Rate: $27 – $28.25 (includes $1.50/hour shift differential).
Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance inventory and spare parts availability to support operational reliability.
- Coordinate receiving, stocking, material movement, and inventory transactions within the maintenance department.
- Utilize CMMS systems to maintain accurate inventory records and improve maintenance efficiency.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Support maintenance planning activities through job kitting, CAPEX inventory management, and parts availability.
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and inventory control requirements.
- Maintain a secure, organized, and efficient storeroom environment while delivering excellent internal customer service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Experience supporting inventory management, storeroom operations, procurement, or manufacturing supply processes.
- Working knowledge of inventory control and material management practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet applications, and CMMS systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Industrial Lift License.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work safely in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment, temperature fluctuations, and flour dust exposure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Prior inventory control, maintenance storeroom, or maintenance support experience.
- Forklift or powered industrial equipment certification.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality, and inventory compliance standards.
