Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift

Job Responsibilities
- Picking/packing parts accurately and preventing damage
- Completing counts, random audits, and reconciliations
- Inspecting in-bound parts for quantity and quality issues
- Physically and systematically placing inbound freight
- Resolving inventory problems promptly
- Researching and reconciling product discrepancies
- Escalating issues directly to supervisors
- Operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Sorting and placing parts in racks or designated areas
- Stacking cardboard boxes and pallets
- Moving materials within the warehouse
- Scanning and counting parts
- Completing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 years of general office experience
- Strong counting skills
- 1 year of customer service experience
- No prior general warehouse experience required but preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient reading and counting skills
- Able to follow directions and work independently
- Excellent with numbers, time management, and organizational skills
- Flexible to work overtime
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Able to enter orders in scanners and PC software
Physical Demands
The associate will be required to stand, walk, use hands and arms to reach, work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, lift up to 100 lbs, and occasionally lift and move up to 23 kg.
