Inventory Clerk - 1st shift

About the role

CJ Logistics America is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join their team. This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and attention to detail. Previous experience with AS400 and/or warehouse management systems is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoy solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Master of Organization: Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
• Cycle Count Expert: Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for aisle, inbound, and outbound inventory.
• Inventory Whisperer: Track and update product movement, identify and correct inventory discrepancies.
• Root Cause Detective: Investigate recurring inventory issues and determine the root cause.
• Status Savvy: Manage inventory at varying status levels and ensure proper handling.
• Forklift Pro: Operate a Sit-Down Forklift for inventory counts and other tasks.
• Collaborative Communicator: Work with customers and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Previous Experience: Experience with AS400 and/or warehouse management systems preferred. Problem-Solving Skills: Critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities. Forklift Certified: Experience operating a Sit-Down Forklift.

Qualifications

Attention to Detail: Ability to spot missing items and handle minor discrepancies. Previous Experience: Experience with inventory management and cycle counting. Communication Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with various teams. Physical Abilities: Ability to operate a Sit-Down Forklift.

Pay

$21.00-$23.00 per hour + $0.75 shift differential

Schedule

• 1A - Tuesday thru Saturday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
• 1A - Sunday thru Thursday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
